A festival of Irish or Celtic music, dancing, and culture.
The Auld Dubliner is proud to present the Long Beach Fleadh. In keeping with the Irish tradition of Oceanside music festivals, we are hosting an Irish music and oyster festival September 14th and 15th 2013 on the Pike Green beside the Ferris wheel in Long Beach.
With an emphasis on the best of local Irish bands, the Fleadh will be two days of Irish music, sunshine, cold beers and great food. Our oyster tent will offer a wide selection of oysters with a beer and champagne bar.
The Fleadh has something for everyone. An authentic, contemporary Irish atmosphere, great music with live bands on the main stage and an acoustic stage in the oyster tent, a children’s area, Irish art and cultural presentations and a film tent hosted by the LA Irish Film Festival.
Whether you are celebrating Irish heritage, love great music, are an oyster fan or just want to be a part of a fun day, please join us at the Fleadh.
Our enclosed oyster tent will feature a variety of oyster types and preparations. Raw, grilled, BBQ and more. Champagne and beer bars and live music.
The session tent will host a series of traditional Irish music and dancers , followed by a ceili and a traditional music session.
Session Tent Lineup:
The Los Angeles Film Festival will host a film tent in our Irish culture area showing short Irish films.
In addition, we will also feature events involving Irish Language, Irish Sports, and an Irish Market.
